The under-12 side was the first to put up a strong fight, going down to the wire against Narrabri.
Keaton Walters (14) was Gunnedah's best with the bat, as the side went on to post a total of 61.
In reply, Narrabri chased down the total with four wickets remaining.

Meanwhile, Gunnedah's under-14 side had their work cut out for them after Alistair Wheeler (88) and Bernard O'Connor (66) guided Narrabri to a first innings total of 290.
Aidan King (47) and Peter McCormack (54) tried to keep the undermanned Gunnedah side in the match, but it was not enough as the side was dismissed for 127.
The under-16 side faced a similar task after Thomas Laird (104) helped Tamworth post a daunting first innings target of 5-249.
Tim Shields (41) toiled manfully to keep Gunnedah in the game, but it was not enough, as the side was eventually dismissed for 85.
All three sides will now turn their attention to a clash with the Tamworth Gold side on Sunday.
