SMALL businesses who want in on the Buy Regional and #buyfromthebush action will get to hear from some already on board, at an upcoming business breakfast.

Drought Support Networking Breakfast spokesman Derek Tink said some of the businesses involved in the shop-regional campaigns "are dispatching 30 to 40 packages a day".
"Obviously the impact of the prevailing weather conditions is starting to be felt around the region - but, at the same time, some of the digital hashtag campaigns are really starting to roll out and grow," Mr Tink said.

"This breakfast is about bringing the business community together with some of those ... currently leveraging those initiatives, to explain the story of how they got involved, how it's going, and opportunities to bounce around ideas to see if there are other ways to bring other innovations into the mix."
Mr Tink is an adviser with the NSW government Business Connect program, which aims to help small businesses start and grow and is organising the event.
He said he was seeing "a mixed bag".
"There are some businesses that are actually doing well due to the weather conditions, [but] some businesses I'm working with are talking about reducing staff numbers or have already done in the last three months.
"But necessity is the mother of all invention, so this could help owners to get ahead of the curve."
The event is open to small-business owners in the New England North West region.
