Almost 90 students sat the exams at St Mary's College and Gunnedah High Schools this year and will celebrate the end of their schooling at the school formals on Thursday and Friday.
The high school's Lucy Moore and Cameron Gale, and St Mary's' Bella Gallagher were among the majority of students who sat their final exam last week.

They said they were "relieved" it was over but agreed it wasn't a drama in reality.
Lucy said the HSC was "made out to be a big thing and so intense" - but in the end, Bella said it was "so chill".
"I think by the time we got to the exams, it wasn't as hard as we anticipated ... It didn't seem as scary," she said.
Cameron echoed their words, saying the HSC trials and half-yearly exams meant the actual HSC was "just another exam".
The trio aren't sweating on their results because they've received multiple early entry offers.

- Bella Gallagher
Both Lucy and Bella were accepted into their courses of choice, and Cameron needs to decide between law, economics and business, and biomedical engineering.
Bella will defer a double degree in arts, and early childhood and primary education through Southern Cross University to start a traineeship at Li'l Achievers next year through TAFE.
Her love for kids shone through when she did work placement at the centre and she was offered a position starting in January.
Lucy will work for a year before starting an agricultural science degree by distance through the University of New England.
She has her heart set on becoming an agronomist.
Cameron will take a year or two off to "work and get some money in my pocket" in preparation for his move to Armidale for university.
He is undecided about which course he will do but has a long-held interest in economics and business.
"I find it fascinating. I guess it would also help with running your own business and different occupations as well," he said.
"I've always found numbers and money quite interesting."
- HSC results and ATARs will be released on December 17.
