In his second season in the competition, Wilson has been a standout playing at No.8 for Queensland Country and was instrumental in their 42-26 win over Brisbane City on the weekend.
He scored Country's opening two tries, and was a real powerhouse around the park.
As he has been pretty well through the first five rounds.
Wilson is the competition's leading ball carrier, is equal top for the most offloads and sits fifth for metres gained with his 336m the best of any forward.
It is the type of form that earned the breakaway a four-year contract extension at the Queensland Reds, and comes on the back of an impressive performance in the green and gold at the World Under-20s Championships, and then for his Brisbane club Brothers.

Queensland Country coach Rob Seib is also Wilson's coach at Brothers and speaking to Rugby.com.au's Brett McKay said he is someone "who's got an enormous amount of potential" and spoke about what a large skill set he has.
"He's so hard to contain, he's a really strong ball-carry, he's got great skills, he reads the defence very well. So he really is a multi-talented player," Seib said.
Elaborating on his array of abilities he said "he's got this incredible offload, and often some blokes around him aren't really aware it's going to come if they haven't played with him very much".
"On the weekend, for an example, from a restart he's attacked an edge and got an offload, and it went to a knock-on, and I really think it was because the bloke didn't expect it was coming," he said.
"He's really got that skill set that other blokes don't, he's got the potential to spark something up."
Seib also jokingly eluded to Wilson's kicking game.
"He kept trying to show me at club footy that he could use his kicking game, but I kept telling him that he shouldn't, which is a bit of a joke that's kept going now," he told McKay.
"But I'm really pleased that he's tucked his kicking game away for the NRC and he's just dominating through his carries."
Queensland Country sit fifth currently and host state of origin counterparts the NSW Country Eagles on Sunday.
In the corresponding game last season, which was played in Tamworth, the Queensland side claimed the honours 45-21.
