Gunnedah Shire Council's spring program has now been announced and some small schools are keeping their gates open to those wanting to play in the grounds.
Teen yoga, boxfit, neon bubble soccer and live theatre are all included on the program, starting from Monday, September 30. Theatrical music making workshops at the Gunnedah Conservatorium will kick off the activities.

The council's manager communications and cultural services Eliza Gallen said the council was excited to offer one of its most varied programs yet.
"There is something for everyone, from Toddler Time at Gunnedah Shire Library, to school holiday movies, teen yoga with Amelia Smith and the Gunnedah Art Showcase," Ms Gallen said.
"The program caters for just about any age and a whole range of interests.
"There is also a chance for young people to display their artistic talents at the Gunnedah Art Showcase, and their performing talents at the Gunnedah Talent Showcase."

The spring holidays will also see four local small schools open their grounds, as part of the Share our Space initiative.
Carroll Public School, Mullaley Public School, Tambar Springs Public School and Currabubula Public School will provide a safe place for children in these smaller communities to play.
Tamworth MP Kevin Anderson said opening purpose-built play areas for children that would otherwise be left unused was a fantastic initiative.
"It's really tough for these families during this drought period and getting away for a holiday is almost out of the question if you have stock to care for," Mr Anderson said.
"Our public schools have great facilities and opening these spaces to the community during the holidays is a brilliant use of space.
"The ... small schools in the region will open up their playgrounds, basketball courts, running tracks, ovals and gardens to their local communities."
Minister for Education Sarah Mitchell said it made sense to "share these spaces with the surrounding community when possible".
