Saturday saw an afternoon of celebrations at Carinya Christian School to mark the 20-year milestone the school has reached.

Past and current students, parents, teachers and friends of the school got to meet and chat, and there was a plethora of activities on offer.
Badge-making, a jumping castle, bungee run, large board games, croquet and a fun photo booth were all at the guest's disposal, as well as free drinks and afternoon tea.

Some lovely Japanese food and steak and sausage sandwiches for dinner were also available.
A highlight for many was watching the movie, Paddington, at the end of the night. This was screened by Rural Aid.
Carroll Public School also celebrated a 150-year milestone recently.
Many people from across the shire and further visited the school's grounds last week to look back at 150 years of the small school, and buried a time capsule for future students to open in years to come.
