The work means the rooms will be unavailable for two weeks. User groups that hire the space have been notified of the change of date.
Annual donations were made to the association's projects and to local schools for their upcoming annual award presentations.
Members are reminded that the meeting on October 3 is an annual general meeting and will start at 9am.
The competition theme for this meeting is "a small kitchen gadget that you find helpful" and for a flower.
For those interested in handicraft, there will be a demonstration for making various Christmas decorations after lunch at about 1pm.
These items will be sold from the CWA table at the annual Christmas Fair.
