The Gunnedah resident, who cannot be named for legal reasons, made an application for release in Tamworth Local Court on Friday.
Her defence lawyer argued she was having panic attacks in custody.
The 33-year-old suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder, major depressive disorder and bipolar disorder, the court heard.

The woman has pleaded not guilty to assault occasioning actual bodily harm, intentionally choking, and contravening an apprehended domestic violence order.
"Ultimately it's clear that she is a person who needs to be properly supervised in the community whether on bail or not," Magistrate George Breton said.
"Taking those matters into account, there's a need for release in relation to her mental health issues.
"I've been through the facts of the matter, there have been concerns raised by the prosecution as to circumstances that might be considered unfavourable to the complainant, namely a course of lengthy criminal history.
"These matters have been taken into account and it seems to me that with the appropriate conditions those risks can be mitigated, bail is granted."
As part of the woman's bail conditions, she will have to attend doctors' appointments for her mental health issues and only live at her house in Gunnedah.
Her partner will no longer be able to live there as she is to have no contact with him or any other witnesses.
The matter will return to Gunnedah Local Court in October.
