Come On Duchess will race in the regional final of the annual event, at Gunnedah on Sunday.
She qualified for the final after finishing third in the first heat of the Million Dollar Chase at Gunnedah last Saturday night.
A top-four finish on Sunday would book her a spot in the semi-finals at Wentworth Park, in Sydney, on October 11.
The following week eight greyhounds will race for a $1 million first prize. The Chase is billed as the world's richest greyhound race.
Marmara hopes Come On Duchess gets a home-track lift on Sunday.
"She knows the track very well," he said.
Champion greyhound Feral Franky won last weekend's heat by a stunning 12 3/4 lengths.
