Hard work paid off for students at Gunnedah Public School this week. Many received awards for their efforts at the school's Education Week award ceremony.
Parents also enjoyed an open day at the school. They took tours of the classrooms and enjoyed some morning tea before the award ceremony began.
Students from Kindergarten to Year 6 received awards for concentrating on their school work, being friendly to their peers, striving to improve their work, and showing a talent for their favourite subjects.
Some students were also lucky enough to be chosen to enjoy a milkshake and some time off school with Mrs Mac and Mr Dowe at Kez's Cafe this week.
They were chosen for being responsible and respectful learners.
