Gunnedah shire residents can practice their downward-facing dog, cat pose, and bridge pose at free yoga classes in Mullaley.
Funded by an Empowering our Communities grant from the Hunter New England Central Coast Primary Health Network, the classes take place on most Wednesdays at Mullaley Hall.
They are held from 9am-10.15am and are hosted by Ameliorate Yoga's Amelia Smith. The option for chair yoga is also included.
Those with youngsters are accommodated, with creche or childcare offered.
Mrs Smith said she has partnered with Ooranga Family Mobile Resource Unit to help parents attend the classes.
"People can come and the kids are occupied in another area of the hall," Mrs Smith said.
"The hall has been upgraded so it's lovely, new and fresh."
Classes are offered weekly throughout Term 3 and Term 4 - however there are no classes on July 31, August 7, October 30, and December 18.
