Gunnedah Shire Band and 2340 Big Band from Tamworth have once again teamed up to host a dinner dance and concert in the band hall from 7pm.
Locals will hear a set from the brass band before they're served up a home-cooked dinner to give them energy to dance the night away to the Big Band.

Gunnedah band master Laurence Rowe said the event had proved to be very successful in the past and the Tamworth "swing band" was becoming "very popular".
Big Band president and bass player Bill O'Neill said they play "old big band pieces", such as Georgia on my Mind, and pop songs with brass lines like I Feel Good by James Brown.
Mr O'Neill said it was worthwhile heading along to hear from two bands with "completely different" repertoires and "we found it has been a great place to perform".
"[Gunnedah Shire Band] play great concert music and we're sort of a concert band and a dance band," he said.
"Our repertoire is quite varied and quite different to Gunnedah, so people who like real music should have a good night there."
The Dinner Dance and Concert will start at 7pm in the Gunnedah Band Hall. Ticket prices are $25 for adults, $15 for child/concession or $70 per family. Admittance includes a meal and a licenced bar will be operating.
