WADE Ryan will be after more than just the Australian Super Welterweight Championship when he steps into the ring against Daniel Lewis on Saturday night.

The Gunnedah Black 'N' Blue Boxing Club member will also be out to avenge his Oceanic-Pacific Australia Boxing middleweight championship loss to Eamon Carlos in April.
"It was a pretty tough loss to take, so I'm really feeling like I have a point to prove," Ryan told the Namoi Valley Independent.
"I'm feeling really good and a lot more confident than I was going into the last fight.
"To be honest, I'm really looking forward to it."

Ryan will go head to head with Lewis, who boasts a perfect 2-0 professional record, at Sydney's Luna Park.
"He [Lewis] has a pretty successful amateur record and has represented Australia at both the Olympic Games and the Commonwealth Games," Ryan said.
"Both of his professional wins have come via knockout, so we know he is pretty powerful.
"Top Mark Boxing in America has signed him on as well, so he is a high-quality opponent."
Ryan said he had been working hard to ensure he meets the Super Welterweight weight class limit.
"My coach Spike [David Syphers] and I have been travelling down to Sydney regularly for sparring sessions," he said.
"Dropping down to the meet the weight requirements doesn't really worry me, I have done it before.
"It has just meant that I have had to be very strict with my diet and stay away from really heavy carbs.
"Honestly, I'm feeling really good at the moment."
Ryan said a victory on Saturday night could provide "huge opportunities" for him in the future.
"It's a bit difficult not to look ahead at what this fight might lead to," he said.
"However, I am very much focusing on this weekend's fight and not getting too far ahead of myself.
"Lewis will be a really tough opponent and I will have to work really hard to beat him.
"We have done the hard work and scouted him as best as we can, so now it is about controlling what I can control and doing the job."
Saturday evening's fight will be broadcast on Fox Sports from 6pm.
