Playing host to the Dungowan Cowboys at Kitchener Park on Saturday, the Dogs proved to be no match for the visitors going down 32-6.
Brandy Harris scored Gunnedah's only try for the game, while Khobi Devine booted the Dogs' only goal.

Peta Devine was named the Roos' best player, earning two best and fairest points.
Kootingal-Moonbi claimed an 8-4 win over Werris Creek, while Manilla picked up an 18-6 over Narrabri.
North Tamworth remains undefeated atop the table three games clear of Kootingal-Moonbi in second.
Saturday's win over Gunnedah sees Dungowan jump into third.
The Bulldogs now sit fourth on the ladies league tag ladder, two games ahead of Werris Creek in fifth and three games ahead of the Roos in sixth.
South West Robins now sit seventh ahead of Manilla and the bottom-placed Narrarbri Blues.
