Competing in four different events, Kennedy claimed an eleventh place finish in the 100 metre sprint, seventh in the 100 metre hurdles and came fourth in the four by 100 metre relay.
"Overall, I was really pleased with my performance," Kennedy said.
"For me, this event was more about my development and less about the results.
"Still, it was a really pleasing to do so well, run a new personal best time in the hurdles, and I can't thank my coach Jay Stone and my former coach Andrew Frend for helping me get to this point."

During the event, Kennedy also branched out to be part of a fourth-placed four by 400 metre relay team.
"Given that was an event I had never really competed in before, I was stoked the team did as well as it did," she said.
"I'm really glad I took part in it and I can't wait to pass on what I learnt during the championships to the young kids I coach."
Kennedy said she would now turn her attention to her coaching roles within the region before preparing for December's grass athletics championships.
"First up from here for me will be helping coach a the Narrabri athletics clinic this weekend alongside Jay Stone," she said.
"I really do love being able to pass on what I have learnt to the next generation of the region's athletes.
"To be honest, I think down the track it something I will really want to give a lot of focus to.
"While I was competing in Townsville I found it really inspiring to know I could pass on what I know to the kids I coach."
Kennedy said her passion for coaching would help her prepare for next year's athletics season.
"That passion for coaching certainly comes from what Jay and Andrew have passed on to me," she said.
"It's something I really enjoy doing and something I'm really looking forward to over the coming months.
"As well as that, I will be working hard to prepare for next year's season."
