SFFP MLC Robert Borsak said his party had several people interested, but all decided not to run on May 18.
"We had a few good people approach us but after discussions of what was required they all opted out," he said.
"Final nominations have now closed, so we are not going to run a candidate in Parkes unfortunately.

"We were never going to run a big campaign in NSW due to the closeness of the state election. We were fully focused on the NSW election which was three years of planning, and we are pleased with that result."
Mr Borsak said the SFFP did not want to run a "half baked campaign".
"That would be disrespectful to our supporters," he said. "It is a big effort for a small party like ours to run federally, but we will run a full-on effort for 2022."
