Black 'n' Blue Boxing's David Syphers told the Namoi Valley Independent he was extremely proud of his fighters.
"They all put in a super effort on the night," Syphers said.
"With the support of the whole club and the expert coaching of Wayne Kemp the guys really did us proud.
"All told it was a really positive event for us."
Syphers said the event was "just the start of an exciting year" for the club.
"We have taken a bit of time off but there will be a lot of exciting things happening this year," he said.
"To start with we will have a fair few of our guys heading to Moree for an amateur event.
"As well as that, Wade Ryan and Albert Nolan will also be main-eventing a card in Melbourne.
"So there is a fair bit happening for us this year."
