Hosted as a part of the Weeks of Speed program, the event attracted more than 25 enthusiastic drivers to the course on Apex Drive.
Battling it out in a variety of heats, the drivers aimed to climb the hill in the shortest possible time to claim the number one ranking.
Gunnedah was well represented on the day with four local drivers finishing atop the leader board.

Event co-ordinator Geoff Hood told the Namoi Valley Independent this year's event was one of the "best ever".
"All told it was a really great event for our club," Hood said.
"Not only did we have a lot of regular drivers attend, we also had several who haven't competed for a while.
"For example, it was great to see Glen Swain back out there and doing well."
Hood said a variety of new drivers made their mark on the event.
"Owen Stevens, Jack Burns and Darryn Phinn performed really well," he said.
"The really great thing about events like these is that it brings car lovers together.
"They come from all over and I really think it gives the town an economic boost."
This year's event also marked the first-ever Roddy Wyllie sports car trophy, which was claimed by Tamworth's Stephen Lynch.
"The perpetual trophy was hand made by Tamworth's Shane Barnes," Hood said.
"It is to honour our dear mate Roddy Wyllie, who did so much for our club.
"It was really great to see Stephen and his son Bayley really go well on the day."
With Weeks of Speed coming to a close the club will now turn its attention to hosting other events later in the year.
"All in all we are very pleased with how this event went," Hood said.
"We want to thank our sponsors and everyone who helped put it together. The club couldn't have done it without them."
