The team comprising Levi Allan, Steven Smith, Kyran Shaw, Jayden Shields, Tristan Russell, Bailey Swain, Wade Picton, Daniel Cox, Ben Sharp, Dylan Smith, Sam Fechner and Charlie Parsons finished the day undefeated after accounting for Tamworth High School and Peel High School.
In the first game against THS, the Quirindi boys ran in six tries.
"Charlie Parsons showed true QHS grit by digging deep and playing even with an injured shoulder," captain Sam Fechner said.
"Dylan Smith stepped up from winger to play front row and Steven Smith wiped the dust off his boots to step on-field after a two year break."
They then beat Peel six tries to four.
Fechner gave special mention to Bailey Swain who scored two tries for Quirindi before joining the opposition - as they were three men down - and scoring tries for them.
"It's always a good environment and a positive day to participate in, Fechner said.
"It's great to see the whole team happy and having a good time doing something they enjoy and staying fit."
