St Xavier's Primary School:
Last week, St Xavier's Primary School and St Mary's College joined together in their Opening School Mass at the St Xavier's School Hall. There was standing room only, with the hall filled with staff, students and families. The Leaders of both school were also inducted at the mass.
Gunnedah Public School:
Last Wednesday, all students from K-2 attended a Water Fun Day at Gunnedah Memorial Pool. We had three activities for the children to do: Water fun, playing on the playground, and games on the grass. All students were beautifully behaved on the day and demonstrated our PBL values of Safe, Respectful and Responsible. Everyone had a great day!
Carinya Christian School:
Kindergarten students have been learning about all sorts of living things. As part of this unit, they made echidnas out of clay and match sticks and will be making lizards this week. Also, in STEM, students have planted beans and looked at their growth over time. They also put celery sticks in dyed water and watched how the coloured dye moved up the plants and made them change colour. It has been great to see kindergarten students enjoying their learning.
