There are also large print titles, talking books, DVDs, CDs, paperbacks and magazines to select from. For the children we cater to all ages from tots to teens. If you can’t make a choice, or have difficulty in finding your preferred books, just ask one of the friendly library staff for help.
The library also runs a variety of programs each week to suit all interested people.
They range from Toddler Time for the youngsters to Brain Training for seniors. There’s also Knit and Natter, Colour and Chatter on a Saturday morning for all age groups. Just ask the library staff for information about each program or check the library events calendar on the noticeboard.
Plenty of new books have been added to the shelves during the last week. For those people who prefer to listen to books, five new talking books have been added to the collection. They include three mystery titles: And Hope to Die by J. M. Calder, Missing Justice by Alafair Burke, and Jane Goodall’s The Walker; as well as Die for You, a thriller by Lisa Unger.
