On Thursday, New England detectives will make a fresh appeal for help and release photos of the exact ute they are trying to track down in the hunt for who was behind the 2010 killing of Darren Willis.
Mr Willis, also known as ‘Spaz’, disappeared after leaving the Imperial Hotel on Maitland Street on the night of December 10, 2010.
His body has never been found but a breakthrough in the case in 2018 turned the long-term missing person report into a murder cold case – prompting a $350,000 reward for any information that leads police to his killers.
