Katrina Burgoyne returned to Australia’s shores in December from her new home of Nashville and is booked from January 18-27 at the festival.
Last week, Burgoyne headed to Tamworth to meet this year’s CMAA Academy of Country Music participants and act as a songwriting mentor.
On social media, the musician recalled her own time in the academy and said it’s where she got her “first start”.
During her time back in Australia, Burgoyne has been travelling between Gunnedah, Brisbane and Newcastle to catch up with family and friends, and working on an upcoming community concert in Gunnedah.
TCMF will also feature former Gunnedah band Good Corn Liquor and Dan Murphy.
