A crafty ride from Simone Vella saw the short priced favourite secure a victory by a length and half from Buckeye Nation and two lengths from Adam Will Do in third.
In a field of local hopes Oakwood Lady was too good and secured her seventh career victory.
Singleton said he hoped Oakwood Lady would “take some confidence” out of Tuesday’s win.
“She is getting a little bit long in the tooth so it is good for her to get a win like this” Singleton told the Leader.
“Over the years she has now earned us more than $130,000, she’s always been there or there abouts for us.”

Simone Vella proved the difference for Oakwood Lady pulling out a near-perfect performance to get the win.
“Simone does a bit of work for us and is a great kid,” Singleton said.
“It was really good to not only get a win for Oakwood Lady but also Simone as well.
“Really it was a good day all around.”
Wallabadah was not the only positive result for Singleton, with the trainer also tasting success at Randwick.
“We did have a horse run fourth at Randwick on Tuesday,” he said.
“I suppose it’s pretty funny to have one do well in the city and in the bush.
“It’s not often you get to experience both ends of the spectrum like that.”
Singleton said Oakwood Lady would now look to races in Bathurst and surrounding areas before eventually entering retirement.
