HUNDREDS of race goers have braved the warm temperatures to soak up all the fun of the Quirindi Jockey Club’s annual Boxing Day race meeting.
Punters were treated to five action-packed races throughout the day with the Stephen Dixon trained Mishani Istana taking out the Murrurundi Cup in the day’s first race.
Trainers from across the region flooded to the track looking to make their mark and take out one of the day’s feature races.
The action was also hot off the course with fashions in the field, face-painting and live music providing the crowd with a variety of entertainment options.
Fashion options ranged from the classic to the casual with the packed crowd enjoying the festive season spirit.
