After winning to toss and electing to bat, Tamworth encountered early trouble to sit at 5-53.
However, the danger was short lived as Jack Richards was able to right the ship with a well compiled 92.
Along with lower order hitting from Brad Redshaw (23), and help from Narrabri in the form of 50 extras, Tamworth posted a challenging 9-229 from their 50 overs.

In reply, Narrabri got off to a shaky start thanks to a dangerous early spell of bowling from Matthew Holmes, who went on to take three wickets.
At one stage, Narrabri looked all but gone at 4-19, but were able to right the ship to stay in the game.
Middle order hitting from Michael Dowdell (30) combined with a hard earned 42 from Mowle at number 10 helped keep the game alive for Narrabri.
However, it was not to be with Sam Murphy claiming the last wicket to dismiss Narrabri for 161 after 41 overs.
Sunday’s victory see’s Tamworth take a strangle hold of the eastern conference well clear in first place heading into the Christmas break.
Narrabri will now slip further into the pack which also includes Moree and Gunnedah.
A victory in Tamworth’s next clash against Gunnedah on January 13 at home, would assure the side of a finals birth.
