
CLOSE to $3000 worth of mini-computers have been stolen during a break-and-enter at a Gunnedah primary school.
An investigation is under way after Gunnedah Public School on Bloomfield Street was hit by thieves between 5pm on Wednesday and early Thursday morning.
Police believe offenders broke in through a sliding glass window and gained entry into the special needs classroom.
Once inside, the stole eight mini iPads worth $350 each, which were on a charging station in the room.
Offenders also graffitied part of the hallway of the school, police said.

The theft and damage was discovered early on Thursday morning when staff arrived.
Police are appealing for anyone that might have seen anything suspicious in the school grounds or knows the location of the stolen goods to contact Gunnedah Police Station on 6742 9099.
