GUNNEDAH police are seeking the public’s assistance after a ute was stolen in the early hours of Sunday morning.
The stolen white, 2006 Holden VZ Commodore ute was reported stolen from a Palmer Crescent house, sparking the police call for help.
Sunday morning’s theft follows a recent string of thefts from the Gunnedah area, with police recovering a car stolen from a Fairview Street address earlier in the month.

A police spokesperson said anyone with information should come forward.
“The ute’s registration is CF55KV,” the spokesperson said. “If anyone has any information, or has sighted the vehicle in the last few days, we urge them to contact us.”
The spokesperson said the thefts were a timely reminder for locals to secure their property.
“By locking your car and removing any valuables inside, the chances of it being stolen drop,” the spokesperson said.
“So we want to remind people to secure their property at all times.”
Anyone with information is urged to contact Gunnedah Police Station 6742 9099.
