The Mature Aged Eisteddfod will start at 10am at Apex Road with song, hymns, poetry, men’s choir, and dance.
In the afternoon, locals will take to the stage at the Gunnedah Town Hall for a mini instrumental section from 4-7pm. On Thursday, vocals will be the focus of the day, and secondary musical entertainment.
Friday will showcase our pre-schools and schools in the musical entertainment categories and Saturday will feature vocals and the open choral championship. Pianists will compete on both days.
This year, Luke Byrne from Sydney will adjudicate the music section. Mr Byrne is no stranger to Gunnedah, visiting in 2005 as part of the cast of a small musical.
