A spokesperson for Photon Energy said the meeting will be scheduled in the week of March 12.
In January, NVI met with concerned residents who said their main issue with the proposal was the impact on their properties and livestock if it flooded, and the impact on the capital value of property.
On Thursday, Photon Energy’s business development manager Robert Ibrahim said talks with the residents were “continuing”.
“We are still planning to submit the [Environment Impact Statement]... and everything is on track,” he said.
“There will be solution in there that is addressing that [flooding] concern."

On Tuesday, a spokesperson for Photon Energy said the EIS was in progress.
“The EIS looks like it will be submitted in the first week of April and that means the Department [of Planning and Environment] will go through their first initial view of the document and we expect it go on public exhibition in late April or early May,” the spokesperson said.
Photon Energy said it anticipated construction of the solar farm would create about 100 jobs, and long-term it would support up to 10 jobs to manage, operate and maintain the farm.
