He might have been lacking a bit of his usual venom but Brad Jenkinson still had Kookaburras in a flap as Albion pushed on to claim the outright points and solidify their spot on top of the table.

Resuming on Saturday at 4-164, and with first innings points already in the bag, Albion batted for about 10 overs before, with a just over a 150 run lead, skipper Andy Mack called the batsmen in.
“That gave us 50 or 60 overs to bowl at them at least,” Mack said.
They only needed 37, Jenkinson showing his wicket drought was well and truly over and claiming 5-21 as they cleaned up a nine-man Kookaburras for a paltry 49.
The scorecard didn’t make pretty readying with Paddy Paul (11) the only batsmen to make double figures.
Jenkinson fittingly sparked the rot taking the return catch off opener Cameron Milne in his third of 19 overs.
He bowled those straight, albeit off a shorter run.
“I’m struggling with an ankle injury at the moment,” Jenkinson explained.
Rather than run in off his normal longer run-up and do more damage, he thought he’d try a shorter run.
It paid dividends, Jenkinson telling Mack he benefitted from the ball doing a little bit more through the air.
“I can stand up a bit taller when I don’t come in as fast.
“When you stand up taller you can manipulate your wrist a bit more,” he said.
“I was probably down on pace but at the same time you can bring a little bit more into your game.”
His wicket haul capped off a brilliant allround game after top-scoring with 73. Given a bit of a licence “to get on with it” by Mack, he was the only wicket to fall with Zac Clarke unbeaten on 23.
