Gunnedah man Mark Rodgers has come across some resident koalas this week and had his camera at the ready.
He discovered two koalas “within cooee of dams” near the Quia and Goolhi Road intersections.
One koala was sitting by the side of the road so Mr Rodgers pulled up near it to stop a vehicle from “skittling” it if they came along.
