Tom Kellett (50), Mike Cashman (57), Barry Everingham (52) and Greg Kellett (50no) all struck half centuries as the home side took advantage of the synthetic wicket and lightning outfield to amass 310.
Peter Boyd also chipped in with 37, Scott Hobden 25 and Steve Beaton 20.
Swapping the gloves for the ball, captain Rick Sampson led the charge for Gunnedah with 3-56.
Bob Haling then anchored their run chase with 61 as they replied with 179.
Bevan Sharman (32) gave him good support initially after Ian Kitching had struck in the third over.
After retiring, Haling returned to shared a 53 run stand with Neil Sands (18) after Paul Cruickshank (24) and Dave Amos (18) had put on 42 to rebuild from a middle order wobble.
Graham Davies (3-51) and Terry Murphy (2-20) did the damage through the middle, the visitors losing 5-5.
