The pair – who fight out of Black 'N' Blue Boxing Gunnedah – conquered their competition to take out the Australian titles last week.
Davey – fighting in the 81-kilogram division – and Nolan – in the 57-kilogram division – both won via unanimous decisions.
Trainer David Syphers was there with his charges and couldn’t speak highly enough of the pair.
“Both of them have a lot of ability. They’re both strong and dedicated to the sport,” Syphers said.
Syphers said while both fighters won convincingly, it was still tough going in the ring.
“They were all very strong fights,” Syphers said.
“Brendan fought the Victorian champion. He fought strongly and he had to be against a hometown favourite down there.
“He went well, I thought we won probably every round.
“Albert’s first fight was a hard one. He fought a Victorian and won convincingly. He’s very smart and strong.
Both of them have a lot of ability.

“The final was against a Tasmanian. It was another hard fight and Albert did what we had to do and won unanimously.”
Black 'N' Blue Boxing will now start preparing for a December 15 fight night in Dubbo.
Boxers from all across NSW will converge on Dubbo for the event with Syphers taking eight fighters down.
It’s a night Syphers aims for each year and will be the last for his fighters before having a break.
“It’s good to wind down,” Syphers said of the Dubbo fight night.
“We’ve had a pretty busy year, and a successful year. We’re hoping to finish with a high on the night.”
On the Gunnedah front, Black 'N' Blue Boxing will be holding a pro-am event on April 7 which will feature pro boxer Wade Ryan along with a host of other local fighters.
