Streater said each championship was “just as special as the others” and improvement of other players in Gunnedah keeps him striving for more success.
“The competition’s getting a bit stronger. There’s three or four guys that can win it now,” Streater said.
Streater said there was one player in particular that pushed him the most.
“There’s got one guy [Troy Dries], I actually work with him and he’s been the guy that’s really pushed me,” Streater said.
“It’s generally between us two every year but there’s other guys have been playing for a while and are getting closer each year.”
The Gunnedah Golf Club held its presentation night on Saturday, November 11 where the divisional winners were recognised for their wins this year. The winners were: Club champion and division one: Luke Streater. Division two: Dan Adams. Division three: Andy O’Connell. Division four: Basil Lumby.
