Charlie Bridge and Lewis Donaldson from Gunnedah South Public School held their own in the junior and senior competitions respectively.
Charlie made it through to the fifth round of the competition before stumbling on the world mollycoddle.
Lewis made it to round two of the senior competition with monolith being the word that brought his campaign to an end.
