The charity ride will raise funds for the Australian Cancer Research Foundation.
“We've hit our 100 mark of people who have paid,” Mr Irwin said.
“Every day I'm getting phone calls from people I don't know, to say they're coming, so it's still flowing in.
Mr Irwin said about 70 motorcyclists had signed-up so far but he was hoping for 80.
“I think we'll have a last hooray in the last week or two,” he said.
Participants will leave Gunnedah at 9.30am on Saturday, November 18, to start on a 400-kilometre ride. The route will take in Gunnedah, Narrabri, Wee Waa and Pilliga – the village where Mr Irwin grew up.
The group will stop in Pilliga for lunch and finish up at Gunnedah Services and Bowling Club for dinner. An auction and raffle will take place during the evening.
“Ninety-nine per cent of the gear is at the club already, ready to go,” Mr Irwin said.
“Wendy [Mortimer]’s been really helpful.”
Raffle tickets are $2 each and are available at the club, Autopro, Turner's Motorcycles, Namoi Valley Motors and Brown's Tyre Service.
The cost per person for the ride is $50. For those who can’t take part in the ride but would like to support it, visit https://give.everydayhero.com/au/let-s-beat-the-bastard-ride
