Over 300 competitors have descended on the town in Queensland’s Central Tablelands for the prestigious event, which gets underway on Thursday with the preliminary rounds and junior national finals, and will decide the National Champions.
Gunnedah’s Tony Lillyman is the ATRA president and looking forward to this year’s event.
“Capella is shaping up to be the biggest and best so far. An increase in membership numbers across the country has brought an influx of competitors, not only to our weekend events, but to our showcased fixture – The National Finals,” Lillyman said.
There is a great contingent from our region that are heading up to Capella and as always they will be the ones to watch.
