The annual sporting festival brings athletes from across Australia together to compete across six different sports.
The netball competition will be held in Maitland from July 12-14, and see Chloe Perkins (14), Bella Gallagher (15), and squad captain Eliza Perkins (16) take to the court for the NIAS team.
The squad was selected by head coach Kirstie Fuller and based on the girls’ performances throughout the NIAS program.
For both Chloe Perkins and Gallagher it will be their first time playing in Division I at the AIYG. Eliza Perkins has played in the top division the previous two years and was last year the MVP for NIAS and named overall MVP in Div 1 across all academies.
