Curlewis Public School P&C will be hosting its inaugural Christmas in July Dinner, Trivia and Auction Night on Saturday, July 22 at the Curlewis Community Hall. Money will be raised for an automated external defibrillator for Curlewis Public School. INTERACTIVE GAME SHOW
Gunnedah Services Club is holding an interactive game show on July 22 from 7pm. The show is Melbourne-based and involves high participation and audience interaction. It is a fundraiser for the local Can Assist- helping those in our community affected by cancer. The game show has a cost of $49.95 per person which includes nibbles per table of eight. There are multiple prizes for winning contestants as well as a lucky door prize by Can Assist. Full bar facilities are available on the night. This is strictly and 18 years and over event. SECRET BRIDESMAIDS’ BUSINESS
Gunnedah Conservatorium will present Secret Bridesmaids’ Business for five performances at the Civic Theatre between July 27 and August 5. Written by Australian playwright Elizabeth Coleman, the play takes an entertaining and funny look at issues including love, truth and friendship. Tickets are $25 and are available from June 27 from www.gunnedahconservatorium.com.au or from the Gunnedah Conservatorium office.

ANNUAL ART & CERAMICS EXHIBITION
The opening of the 47th Annual Gunnedah Art and Ceramics Exhibition will be held at 6pm on Friday, August 18. The exhibition will run until September 3 and will include a variety of artworks by local artists. Admission to the opening is $15 and includes light refreshments.
