It was the Narrabri girls with a dominant undefeated performance who were declared the winners for the 2016-17 season.
The encouragement award for the event was awarded to Amy Evans from Armidale who attended all three weekends and bowled with a great passion.
The league attracted players from every corner of our region Gunnedah, Tamworth, Narrabri, Wee Waa, Moree, Warialda, Tenterfield, and Armidale.
The commitment to travel and develop girls cricket has been amazing from the players and their families.
Following some great performances, the girls will next be attending the NSW Girls Academy trials which are scheduled to be hosted in Tamworth on April 29 at Riverside No.1.
The trials will be followed by the Central North annual cricket presentation dinner.
