Pat was a distinguished printmaker, known for her superior colour reductions. In fact, she was known to make up to 17 transparencies of a print which gave an exquisite depth to her work.
Boggabri born and bred, Pat returned to the district after graduating as a pharmacist (invaluable in knowing compounds) and living in Sydney where she was widely known for her printmaking.
She was instrumental in establishing the Vickery Art Prize in Boggabri and held numerous solo exhibitions along the eastern seaboard. Pat was always ready to share her knowledge, tutoring and encouraging art students.
She was a dearly loved member of our local arts community and a good friend to many other artists.
Her keen and understated sense of humour is illustrated by one of her infamous quotes, "An artist? That's a title I reserve for Rembrandt".
