The three executives, Norma MacDonald President, Lyn Pine Secretary and Lorna Thompson Treasurer, were re-elected.
Ms MacDonald reported on the group’s busy and rewarding year, including fun social activities held in conjunction with Emerald Hill Progress Association.
The next meeting will be on November 10, with members to bring cakes they are trialling for the 2017 Land Cookery Competition.
Members will compete for the branch’s Albion Cup by reading a poem, short story or joke, with the most popular piece judged the winner. Cooking for the Christmas Fair on the November 12 can be brought to this meeting.
New members are always welcome.
