The fundraising event was held in Kay and Steve Benham’s country garden at “Kooiyong” near Mullaley, with more than 160 people attending despite the rainy weather.
The garden party featured various stalls with goods, and a buffet lunch catered by the branch.
A main part of the event was the opportunity for guests to have their antique pieces appraised by antique dealer Mark Delahunt who travelled over for the day.
Mr Delhunt runs an antique store, Jenkins Street Antiques and Fine China, in Nundle, and was impressed by the items he examined.
Red Cross Gunnedah branch president, Jill Hudson, said there was huge interest in the antique appraisals.
“Mark was really pleased by the quality of things people brought in,” she said.
Ms Hudson said she was grateful to the community for its ongoing support and attending the event despite the weather.
“All in all, a terrific day thanks to the support of our generous community and the hard-working Red Cross members,” she said.
