Doubleday claimed 2-27 from eight overs before scoring a vital 31 at number five to help Court House towards its 131-run target.
Doubleday’s first scoring shot was a four before he hit a further three fours and a six.
By his own admission, he was a little scratchy as it was the first time he picked up a bat since last season’s decider.
