A fun day and get-together also occurred last Friday, with a series of these events taking place so that young and new basketballers can learn and develop their skills.
Basketballers are also sought for the upcoming summer competition, with registration held at the basketball stadium from 5pm to 6.30pm on September 13 and 20.
An eight-week competition starts on October 11, with children from kindergarten through to Year 8 taking part in the miniball and junior divisions while there is also a senior competition.
The miniball and junior matches are scheduled to take place on Tuesday nights while seniors are slated to play on Wednesday nights.
Registration fees are $25 for players aged from five to 18, $35 for senior registered players, and $55 for new senior players.
Late registrations won’t be accepted due to the short length of the competition.
Teams with fewer than five financial members at the end of the second nomination night won’t be considered for the competition schedule.
