Best for Stripes included Jayden Winsor who opened the batting and retired on 41 runs at Donnelly Playing Fields.
Lachlan Straney was another to shine after he knocked 17 runs for his side before retiring.
Their efforts were enough to push the team total to 90.
Young Fourways bowler AJ King was solid in his two-over spell for figures of 1-1.
Taking it to the Stripes bowlers in reply, was a concerted effort by Fourways’ middle to lower order batsmen.
King retired on 18 not out and Braithen Windsor was unbeaten on 10 not out.
But despite their best efforts, the runs were not enough as Stripes took home a strong victory.
In other Gunnedah junior cricket news, Adam McGuirk and Kaleb McIlveen were selected in the Under-14 Central Northern squad to contest the Kookaburra Cup early next year.
