The competition has been extended and people can now pay the $10 entry fee at Montage Fotos as they drop off their entries.
Entries can also be emailed to marie.low@fairfaxmedia.com.au with your receipt number and it may be featured in the Namoi Valley Independent.
The theme of the competition is “something that makes me smile”.
Entries so far have included everything from beautiful sunsets like the one pictured here by Trish Worboys, to photos of grandchildren and pets. It seems a whole range of things make Gunnedah people smile!
First prize for the competition is a Nikon Coolpiz S9400 18.1mp digital camera valued at $329 thanks to Harvey Norman, with a second prize of a framed enlargement of your photograph.
The competition was the initiative of Jenny’s friend Debbie Thompson, who started it to help raise funds for Jenny Shorter’s medical costs.
Jenny is facing steep costs following her operation for chiari malfunction.
Winners will be announced in the Namoi Valley Independent.
The competition is supported by Montage Fotos and the Namoi Valley Independent.
