The band, based on Sydney's northern beaches, has joined the It Takes 3 campaign ahead of the federal election, and say "the government isn't doing anything about climate change".
In the funny video targeting young voters, Lime Cordiale members and brothers Oli and Louis Leimbach, say "where we can make a big difference is politics".

Oli also suggests recycling, solar, composting and cold showers can make a big difference to the planet.
"Or no showers at all, I'm doing dry 2022," Louis jokes.
In the video, the brothers also address the rate of informal or donkey votes. This increased from 5.05 per cent in the 2016 federal election House of Representatives ballots, to 5.5 per cent in the 2019 federal election.
Louis then makes reference to the number of people who draw genitals on their ballot paper.
"I'm pro sustainable living and I usually draw organic veggies on my ballot paper like, you know, a gherkin and two potatoes. I've seen other people do it," he said.
To which Oli responds "they're d**ks Louis, they're drawing d**ks".
They tell viewers you don't need to be a political expert for your vote to count at the upcoming federal election on Saturday, May 21.
"We just need to do two things," Oli said. "One, don't draw cartoon genitals on your ballot paper. And, two, if we vote in just three independents with a strong platform on climate change, we can sway government decisions and that's game changing.
