FOLLOWING Monday's reshuffle, members of Premier Dominic Perrottet's new cabinet were sworn on Tuesday and there were some big local names involved.

Gunnedah-born Liberal MP Sarah Mitchell also enjoyed her meeting with the governor, after retaining the Education and Early Childhood Learning ministry - a role she has held since 2019. She had been the Minister for Early Childhood Education prior to that.

The new agriculture and Western NSW minister, Dugald Saunders, was also sworn in as he takes over from Northern Tablelands MP Adam Marshall, who was dumped from the role in the reshuffle.
